About

Two Chapters - been on both sides of the table and thats the whole perspective.

I worked in five large listed MNC/ Regional banks, for over a decade and spent the next decade outside serving the banks as an entrepreneur. That taught me systems, decision making, business, strategy and the whole works.

The Banking years

I started in India. ING Vysya Bank, 2002 at the time of the merger of dutch MNC ING with Vysya Bank. Twelve months of intensive training across regions as part of a fast track program for chosen few was followed by a
credit portfolio.

Three years later I moved to Abu Dhabi and spent the next decade plus years inside four MNC banks: NBAD, Barclays, Commercial Bank of Dubai and National Bank of Oman.

Different banking cultures -- Dutch, British, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Omani taught me approaching to their decision making and systems and how they do business

The Business years
End of 2016 I came back to India and I crossed to the other side. As part of a succession I took over Metrolink Outsourcing Services — a single-state, single-product cash management firm — and spent seven years building it into a USD 5 million valued financial services company serving 11 banks and 3,500 B2B clients across four states with 150 staff. Built three proprietary software products for banking clients — M-GeoTrack, MVIRA and M-Reports — designed and deployed by me with no technical background.

Simultaneously started startups in Climate tech, behavioural science edtech and then on to HTD, graduate talent development. Lots of learning in build, break, rebuild, pivot and every other aspect of business.

If you are a founder, leader with a business problem that needs attention. Lets talk!!
